Cheryl Kebede is the founder of Right Choices Project, she has graduated from the University of Manchester and Leeds Beckett University with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Special Educational Needs.

Before, becoming the founder of Right Choices Project she was one of the first people within Manchester, England to set up independent groups for disabled people and play-schemes for children with disabilities.

She also single handedly in 2000 sent 40 boxes of aid supplies to Bosnia for children who were orphans and had various disabilities. This was supported by a local Methodist Church in Leeds.

She was awarded in 2006 with a Community Champion Award from the Education and Skills department for setting up the project and providing life skills for people with disabilities.

Her interests include being a Mother to her son's, Opera, Ethiopia and a lover and learner of Spanish.
